Esmee’s interest in health and fitness has spanned nearly 20 years and led her to qualify as an Exercise to Music Instructor in 2003, where she progressed to running successful weight management classes in North and West Wiltshire.
Having been introduced to the Pilates technique in 2000 she soon began to experience significant changes to her own approach to exercise and movement and realised the numerous benefits Pilates brings. Having established herself within the Pilates method, Esmee qualified as a Pilates Mat Work Instructor from The London Pilates Institute in 2003, and obtained her Level 3 Pilates Mat Work qualification in 2006.
Esmee’s particular passion is in supporting others to take a holistic approach towards improving and maintaining their health and well-being, helping others to set and achieve realistic goals leading to a healthier lifestyle. She currently runs community, individual and small group training sessions at a range of venues throughout North Wiltshire and collaborates with Pilates Instructors to host European Pilates holiday retreats.
Esmee continues to develop her own personal and professional knowledge base through her own regular practice, tuition and training.
Esmee is also a highly experienced Social Worker, in addition to being an independent Life & Emotional Intelligence Coach; supporting businesses to excel in their leadership, teamwork and management skills. Esmee is passionate about developing ideas and opportunities to bring well-being to the work place and supporting others to achieve their goals.
Hilary became interested in Pilates after attending a training session presented by two Physiotherapy colleagues who were finding the technique very beneficial within their practice. Inspired, Hilary began attending Pilates classes herself.
Having worked since 2002 as a Physiotherapy Assistant, Hilary began incorporating more of her Pilates knowledge and its key principles into her work to assist her patients with their rehabilitation. Here she saw first-hand that it was aiding recovery and strength.
Hilary decided to train as a Pilates Instructor in 2002 with Future Fit Training, principally for self-progression and to increase her understanding of the application of Pilates in a remedial environment, as well as for her own health and fitness. She continues to apply that knowledge daily both within her employment specialising in knee and shoulder rehabilitation within community hospital’s and local community classes she runs.

'' For years I have used Pilates classes to keep free of chronic back pain. Of all the instructors I have have had Esmee is quite the best her instructions are clear, concise, well demonstrated and her ‘eagle eye’ notices any errors or misplacements I might make. The classes are dynamic, always varied, continually challenging and most importantly these is always an element of fun. As a dancer I would recommend her classes to anyone who wants to keep supple and fit or get supple and fit...''
"Since joining Esmee’s pilates class, I’ve noted a marked improvement in my sciatica as well as my overall fitness and well-being. My core strength and stability has also improved as a result.
Something I particularly enjoy about Esmee is the fact that she will also offer different or alternative levels with each exercise. This allows you the option of extending your range within each movement.
I’ve gained more from attending these classes and in a relatively short space of time than I did by prolonged and expensive trips to the physiotherapist."
